Weekly Journal #8

The past two weeks have been extremely productive and we have made a lot of progress with the project. First of all, we wrote-up the first draft of our report. this has been a good team effort, with all 6 of us being involved in the writing process. While surely some content will change and some will be added in the final report, it has been the opportunity to go in-depth into the project and all of us have developed some valuable knowledge of the the relation between GSK and economic development. We are now waiting for the feedback on this first draft, to see which points can be modified or improved. Regardless, we want to go further in-depth in our final report, notably by adding interviews to our data pool. This is something we will be working on in the next weeks.

Also, we handed-in our final presentation. We chose the prezi format for it, as it allows for more visual creativity and a clearer information flow than Powerpoint, and we thought this would be a strong added value to the presentation, since we cannot present it in direct. We essentially organized the information flow in this presentation the same way as in our draft report, in order for it to reflect well on our cognitive process of collecting literature elements and data on GSK, and linking these in order to derive an analysis of challenges, opportunities for improvements and recommendations to GSK and the pharmaceutical industry. With this in mind the feedback we get for the presentation should be highly relevant and usable for our final report as well.
